Manchester United have turned down Napoli’s second bid for Marouane Fellaini, according to The Express. While the Express report the powerhouse is staying put due to the breakdown in negotiations.

The Belgian has been the subject of interest from the Serie A side, but his club has rejected their advances.
Rafa Benitez’s side offered a slightly improved loan deal for the 26-year-old, but it fell short of United’s minimum requirements.
With a move to Napoli now looking doubtful, Fellaini could be set to stay at Old Trafford – despite reports he was due to be axed by new boss Louis van Gaal.
Fellaini scored a last gasp winner for the Red Devils last night in their 2-1 win against Valencia – their final pre-season friendly.
His goal, plus a fairly good World Cup showing for Belgium, may have won him some fans amongst the United support.

United’s inability to bolster their midfield this transfer window – having only signed Ander Herrera – may also mean that Fellaini is kept at Old Trafford, should he be needed by Van Gaal as he challenges for the title.
The Red Devils have been linked with moves for Juventus’ Arturo Vidal, Real Madrid’s Angel Di Maria and Barcelona’s Alex Song, but so far none have come to fruition – and with the Premier League season rapidly approaching – Fellaini may find himself playing in Manchester red come September.
