Who has heard of Andreas Christensen?
I have. Its just because i'm a Chelsea fan and i'm conversant with the Chelsea Academy and Reserve teams. Christensen is still a decent youth 18-year-old player who plays as a defender as he continues to learn his trade in the west London youth system.
What has hit the headlines, is that according to The Daily Mail they reported that despite not appearing for the Chelsea first team, he is earning a staggering £20,000-a-week.
If true, his contract is one of a worrying trend of awarding talent, not ability with excessive cash. As the youngster continues to develop, he will be raking in around £1m-a-year - too much for any teenager to handle.
Will it impede his development? Maybe. Does he deserve it? No. But he is not the only teenager to be earning such a living in the game today.
Here are six more teeangers who are earning big wages at big clubs, some more deserving than others.
Club: Chelsea
Wage: £17,000-a-week
Where better to start our list than at the club who inspired this list? Chelsea aren't afraid to invest heavily in their youngsters, also gifting Piazon a huge £17,000-a-week contract before loaning him out to Vitesse.
Unbelievably, Chelsea also gave him a £1 million signing on fee after sealing his signature from Sao Paulo. Recently named the second best teeanger in the world by Gazzetta dello Sport, he could prove to be worth every penny.
Club: Arsenal
Wage: £20,000-a-week
Serge Gnabry looked to be quite the talent when he scored against Swansea at the Liberty Stadium earlier this season. The 18-year-old German international made up for the absence of the injured Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Lukas Podolski and Theo Walcott with his flying wing play and was subsequently awarded a huge deal.
Agreeing a five-year deal worth a whopping £20,000-a-week, Gnabry was made an overnight millionaire despite only just being over the legal drinking age. Injury has stopped him progressing further this season but great things lie ahead, including big bank balances.
Club: Liverpool
Wage: £30,000-a-week
Raheem Sterling was awarded his £30,000-a-week contract whilst still under the legal drinking age but, even more amazingly, is set for an even BIGGER contract soon.
Reports emerged on Tuesday that Liverpool will smash through their pay barrier to reward the winger, who has been incredible for the Reds this season. No figure has been mooted by the national papers, but is likely to be substantially bigger than his current wage.
Club: Manchester United
Wage: £60,000-a-week
Adnan Januzaj, 19, is probably the most exciting teenager footballer in the world so it makes sense that he is one of the best paid.
Earning himself a five-year deal this season, the Belgian-born winger also received an incredible £5m signing on fee - the largest ever awarded to a teenager by the club. Hopefully David Moyes' faith in Januzaj will be rewarded next season, where he is under pressure to deliver trophies and a top four place.
Club: Paris Saint-Germain
Wage: £206,000-a-week
Lucas Moura was one of the most coveted young stars in the world when he left Sao Paulo for PSG in 2012 whilst still 19. The Parisians beat the likes of Real Madrid and Manchester United to agree a €35m deal with the Brazilian club and there is no wondering why Lucas chose them over the English and Spanish giants.
According to Goal, PSG offered Moura an incredible £206,000-a-week contract to make him one of the club's top earners alongside Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva.
Only 19 at the time, Moura was probably earning more a week than his parents had earned in their entire lives.

Marquinhos
Club: Paris Saint-Germain
Wage: £78,000-a-week
Marquinhos was made one of the most expensive teeangers of all time when signing for Paris Saint-Germain from AS Roma last summer for a fee of around £28m.
But PSG are also paying a huge amount in wages, agreeing a five-year deal worth as much as £78,000-a-week. In fact, if certain clauses in his contract are met, he could be earning up to £150,000-a-week by the end of his deal.
So far, however, he has failed to establish himself as a starter at Parc des Princes, falling behind Alex and Thiago Silva in the pecking order.
