Manchester United: Vidic leaves, who's next?

With Nemanja Vidic’s imminent departure for Inter Milan this summer, could we see an exodus at Manchester United?

Recently, every opponent of Manchester United seems to see them as feeble and vulnerable. It has gotten to the point that almost everyone associated with Manchester United now doubts victory even against the meekest of opponents.

That, coupled with the fact that David Moyes will surely be likely to want to build his own team, is enough explanation for a potential clearout.

Patrice Evra's contract is up at the end of the season while Ryan ‘experience’ Giggs may want to finally retire. Dutch striker Robin van Persie openly called his club's position ‘lousy’ as well as voicing his displeasure concerning his teammates following the recent defeat to Olympiacos. The striker has been linked with a move back to the side that brought him to the Premier League - Arsenal.

Shinji Kagawa must want more playing time. With Juan Mata’s arrival to the team, his wish will be unfulfilled. The Japanese dazzler may not turn down offers from other teams provided he will get a better chance to play.

Javier ‘Chicarito’ Hernandez is not a regular starter at Manchester United and may opt out in search of greener pastures.

Anderson, Luis Nani and Anders Lindergaard all appear likely to exit Manchester United also.
If all of these players leave and adequate replacements are not signed, Manchester United’s reign may become history and they may end up fighting for the European spots.
