Paris Saint Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic delighted Twitter fans yesterday with his 'Dare to Zlatan' campaign.
The Swedish striker, known for his large ego, has launched the
campaign encouraging people to 'attempt the impossible' just like he
claims to do.
He took part
in a question and answer session with fans on Twitter which produced
some hilarious results. One fan asked how does one 'Dare to Zlatan'?
"Daring to Zlatan is easy. Start by trying moves that can't be done. Keep trying until you are Zlatan."
Another follower asked him if he was mad, which he responded with:
"Am I mad? Would a sane man try a 32 yard overhead kick in an
international match? #DareToZlatan"
Ibrahimovic has 23 goals in the league this season, nine ahead of his
team mate Edison Cavani who is his nearest challenger in Ligue 1.
Nike have since released a series of YouTube clips with Ibrahimovic,
showing him fight through fire, ice and lightning whilst doing skills
with a football.
The goalscorer has always had a reputation for arrogance but the
Twitter session showed that he embraces it in a comical fashion.
Here are some of the funniest replies the Swede has tweeted in his new campaign.
"Zlatan is just a human. The same way a great white shark is just a fish.
"Failure is the first step to success. The second step is growing a ponytail.
"Learn to unlearn the word 'safe'. Because if you don't know what it means you can't play it.
"Zlatan's favourite stadium is the one with grass and two goals. Every stadium is a potential stage."
