Chelsea's summer plan for Hazard revealed

Chelsea plan to loan Thorgan Hazard to Middlesbrough next season, according to the Daily Express.

Citing reports in Belgium, the Daily Express claims Jose Mourinho is keen for Hazard to continue his development away from Chelsea.

But after impressing on loan at Zulte Waregem in Belgium, Mourinho wants the younger Hazard to adapt to football in England.

And, under the watchful eye of former-Real Madrid coach Aitor Karanka - now manager at Middlesbrough - Mourinho believes Hazard will shine.

The plan is for Hazard to continue to progress away from Stamford Bridge, much like Romelu Lukaku has done at West Brom and Everton over the last two seasons.

The younger Hazard, currently 20-years-old, has been excellent for his Belgian club. He leads Zulte Waregem with nine goals in 25 appearances in the Jupiter league so far this term.

Likewise his older brother, Eden, has been a standout performer for Chelsea. The 23-year-old Belgian international bagged a hat-trick against Newcastle last weekend.
