Arsenal returned to winning ways on Thursday as a pair of goals from Theo Walcott and another courtesy of Lukas Podolski helped the Gunners to a 3-1 comeback win at West Ham.
The hosts snatched the lead in the opening minute of the second half when Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny failed to hold a shot from Kevin Nolan, allowing Carlton Cole to score on the rebound.
But the Gunners responded with three goals in 11 minutes to claim a win for the first time in five games in all competitions. The equalizer arrived in the 68th minute when Walcott's left- footed shot somehow made its way through traffic and past goalkeeper Adrian, who let the ball slip between his hands despite a lack of pace on the shot. Walcott scored again three minutes later when he headed home a deflected cross from Podolski, who was making his first league appearance since late August.
And the German capped a positive return with a goal 11
minutes from time to kill off the match when he fired home a pass from Olivier Giroud.
