A regalvanised Crystal Palace side welcome high-flying Newcastle to Selhurst Park on Saturday, as both teams look to continue their recent good form.
The Eagles have won three games out of five since Tony Pulis took over, as the former Stoke man continues to stamp his mark on the club and attempt to drag them out of the relegation dog fight.
They go into this game knowing they were unfortunate to come away with nothing last weekend following Petr Cech’s inspired display as Chelsea hung on for all three points.
The form of Marouane Chamakh has been a pleasant surprise for Pulis and he will be hoping the former Arsenal man can continue his run and bag a fourth goal in as many games.
Having only lost one game in seven and currently sitting sixth in the table, Newcastle have a lot to smile about.
The Magpies struggled last year but look a completely different outfit this season and the excellent form of Loic Remy, Mathieu Debuchy and Yoan Gouffran have helped propel them up the table and into continental qualification contention.
Yohan Cabaye is welcomed back into the fold following his one game suspension during last week’s 1-1 draw with Southampton at St. James’s Park as Newcastle look to close the gap on the top five.
